Armenians Remaining in Western United States Face Medication, Financial, and Housing Issues

Due to the cancellation of flights related to the coronavirus pandemic, many citizens of the Republic of Armenia have been left stranded in the western states of the USA, particularly in Southern California. A significant portion urgently requires assistance to address issues such as medication, financial support, housing, and more. This was announced by the Armenian Consulate General in Los Angeles.

The consulate has also made an appeal to Armenians living in the western United States and private companies to provide support to those citizens of RA who are temporarily stuck in the USA due to flight cancellations.

“All those who wish to assist these citizens of the Republic of Armenia are requested to contact the Armenian Consulate General in Los Angeles at the phone number (818) 696-6078 or via email at [email protected],” the announcement from the consulate stated.
