Anna Karapetyan on Links to the Former Government

“I just saw your written news. I am surprised; I am thinking, where do you find this information?" said Anna Karapetyan, a member of the "My Step" faction, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly on May 5. This was in response to rumors circulating online that a decision had been made in the ruling party to strip Karapetyan of her mandate.

“You have written that I am the member of parliament who has traveled the most. At least look at the statistics. I am at least not the least, I am an average traveling member of parliament. Or that the 'My Step' faction has failed my project. That topic is closed; now there are other news. I understand that some forces want to create a division within the 'My Step' faction, but they will not succeed,” she said.

When asked about being linked to the former authorities, the MP responded, “How am I connected? Who is linking me? There is no such thing, people are giving you false news.”

It should be noted that Anna Karapetyan was the assistant to former Republican Party MP Hovhannes Sahakyan.
