32-Year-Old Taron Poghosyan Dies in Artsakh, Leaves Behind Wife and Three Young Children
On May 4, in Artsakh, 32-year-old Taron Rubik Poghosyan died from fatal injuries sustained in a landmine explosion. He was married and a father to three young children. This was confirmed by Sarghis Abrahamyan, the head of the Vosketeph community in the Ararat province.
“Taron graduated from the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Institute and held the rank of major. The village heard about the death of a serviceman, and we understood that it was him,” said the community leader.
Earlier, it was reported that around 19:05, Taron Rubik Poghosyan, born in 1988, was injured fatally in a landmine explosion while serving in one of the contract units stationed in the southern direction of the Armed Forces. An investigation is underway to clarify the details of the incident.
