There Will Be No Shortage of Masks in Armenia: New Production Facility in Tavush to Manufacture 200,000 Masks Daily

In Armenia, there will be no mask shortage as movement restrictions are lifted. This was announced today by Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Staff Tigran Avinyan during a live broadcast alongside Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan.

“There are sufficient masks in Armenia to ensure necessary safety. During this time, a large quantity of masks has also been imported into Armenia,” he said.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also revealed that large-scale mask production is commencing in Armenia. According to the Prime Minister, the newly opening facility will produce 200,000 masks daily. Officials, citing the Tavush province governor, mentioned that the production site in the region will begin operations tomorrow.
