Davith Tonoyan Makes Working Visit to the Defense Army
From May 1 to 2, Armenian Minister of Defense Davith Tonoyan was on a working visit to the Defense Army as part of a program for military cooperation and coordination of actions between the two Armenian states. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Defense.
Accompanied by his counterpart from the Republic of Artsakh, Major General Jalal Harutyunyan, Minister Tonoyan visited several military units operating in the northern and central directions, toured various military and logistics sites, and held meetings with military personnel of professional, contracted, and conscripted ranks.
Among the key topics addressed during the working visit were issues concerning the improvement of personnel's service and socio-living conditions, combat and morale-psychological readiness, effective use, modernization of weapons and military equipment, and comprehensive logistics support.
Davith Tonoyan highly appreciated the current level of military cooperation between the two Armenian states, particularly the qualitative indicators of all measures being implemented in the Defense Army.
During the working tour, priority directions for further actions were also clarified, which should be the foundation of the military cooperation agenda in the near future.
