The Bonuses in the National Assembly for the First Quarter Amounted to 270 Million Drams: AntiFake
AntiFake.am has sent a request to the National Assembly of Armenia, asking for the total amount of bonuses allocated during the first quarter of 2020.
The Deputy Chief of Staff of the National Assembly, Lilit Minasyan, in response to the inquiry, stated that the total amount of bonuses allocated by the order of the President of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan on February 4, 2020, under order K-14-A, was 113,237,560 AMD; under order K-15-A, it was 60,540,423 AMD; and under order K-38-A dated March 3, 2020, it amounted to 61,149,110 AMD.
The total amount of bonuses allocated under order K-53-A was 26,935,515 AMD, which, at the initiative of the President of the National Assembly and with the consent of the deputies, was transferred to the Treasury account for “Financial assistance for the prevention and overcoming of the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection from the donations of individuals and organizations to the state.”
On April 2, 2020, under order K-56-A, the total amount of bonuses allocated was 35,064,525 AMD.
In total, during the first quarter of 2020, the National Assembly of Armenia allocated 269,991,618 AMD in bonuses, which is equivalent to approximately 565 thousand USD.
The head of the staff added that since 2019, no member of the National Assembly has refused the bonuses due to them.
