Procedure for Applying to the 9th Program Simplified: Minister

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Zaruhi Batoyan, wrote on her Facebook page: "Dear citizens, the procedure for applying to the 9th program for neutralizing the economic consequences of the coronavirus has been simplified. Therefore, if you have not yet received a response to your application for assistance, you can try again with the newly simplified procedure.

We remind you that the beneficiaries of this program are families who have a child under the age of 18 and where both parents or a single parent did not have registered work as of March 12, 2020, and have not been accepted for temporary or permanent registered work from March 12, 2020, to March 31, 2020.

Beneficiaries also include guardians of a child under 18 and parents on childcare leave for a child under 3 years old as of March 12, 2020, whose spouse is unemployed.

Citizens who receive family benefits, are not in the Republic of Armenia, had primary or temporary employment before March 12, 2020, and had an average salary of 500,000 drams or more in previous months, or were individual entrepreneurs as of March 31, 2020, whose activities were not halted according to the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, do not qualify.
