Where is the money over one billion not shown in the reports of the soldiers' social security fund? Urikhanyan
For over a year, I have been trying to get an answer to where the money exceeding one billion, which is not reflected in the reports of the soldiers' social security fund, is. This statement was made by MP Tigran Urikhanyan, who has left the Prosperous Armenia faction.
He specifically noted, “I am confident that everyone remembers the several Q&A sessions I had with the Prime Minister, and they also remember the latest one when I agreed to the Prime Minister Pashinyan’s proposal to instruct the State Revenue Committee to carry out an audit. To this day, there has been no information regarding this.”
“Meanwhile, something else occurred— the government decided to remove me from the Board of Trustees of the Fund, presenting it as a proposal from the Prosperous Armenia party due to my exit from the faction, which is either illegal, as such an action cannot occur according to the foundation's charter (this fact can be checked by anyone in the public domain), or it is a lie, as neither the Parliament nor any faction has the authority to participate in the formation of the Fund’s board,” he stated.
“I am particularly confident that our partners in the Prosperous Armenia party fully understand what perception the replacement of someone investigating the missing funds belonging to the people can create at this moment in society. This circumstance indicates that the government itself has approached the faction with a proposal for a change, and this is proven by the fact that just a few weeks ago, a government representative discussed my status in the Fund’s council over a phone call with my employee.”
“The conclusions are for the people, but there is one caveat— I am a sitting MP, and every four-day government will be forced to hear this question again, clarify it, and hold accountable those responsible.”
