The Union of Armenians in Russia Supports Armen Sarkissian's Initiative to Establish the 'Armenian Park'
The President of the Union of Armenians in Russia, Ara Abrahamyan, has responded positively to the idea and initiative of Armenia's President Armen Sarkissian to establish a national park of solidarity and memory, named 'Armenian Park', in the area of Tsitsernakaberd.
This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Office of the President of the Republic of Armenia.
In a letter addressed to President Sarkissian, Ara Abrahamyan specifically noted that the implementation of this initiative embodies an important idea and resonates strongly with our people's historical and socio-political agenda.
'Dear Mr. President, both I and the members of the largest national organization in the Russian Federation, the Union of Armenians in Russia, are ready to support your initiative, and we would be pleased to contribute our resources, knowledge, and efforts to make it a reality. Undoubtedly, our joint work and collective efforts will serve to further unite our nation,' Ara Abrahamyan's letter states.
