The U.S. leads the world in both deaths from coronavirus and the number of infected individuals. Currently, there are over 843,000 active cases in the country. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, a total of 1,048,834 people have been infected.
In just one day, more than 13,000 new infections and 1,229 new deaths have been reported across the country. In total, 144,352 people have recovered from the virus.
It is noteworthy that the World Health Organization declared a pandemic on March 31. Globally, COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 225,615 people, and 3,188,596 individuals have been infected.
