VIDEO: Couple Arrested After Drugstore Raid

The Criminal Police Department’s Drug Trafficking Control Unit has uncovered another case of illegal drug trafficking, in collaboration with investigators from the Mashtots, Ajapnyak, and Davtashen administrative districts.

According to operational data, a couple residing in Yerevan illegally acquires and sells Lyrica psychotropic pills from their pharmacy.

As a result of surveillance actions, a 32-year-old man, a resident of Yerevan, was apprehended after purchasing Lyrica from the couple's pharmacy. During his search, Lyrica pills were discovered.

Within the framework of the criminal case, on April 24, law enforcement officers, based on a court order, searched the pharmacy on Shiraz Street, discovering and confiscating more than 70 Lyrica pills. Expert examinations have been appointed. The couple has been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
