VIDEO: 44-Year-Old Man Beaten During Dispute Arising from Car Accident

On April 19, around 5:30 PM, the police department in Artashat received a report from a medical center that a 44-year-old man had sought medical assistance for a broken leg. Upon receiving the report, police officers headed to the hospital to document the circumstances and diagnosis of the injured citizen.

It was revealed that earlier that same day, around 4 PM, a dispute arising from a car accident in the village of Mrgavet had led to the victim being assaulted by unknown individuals, resulting in bodily injuries.

A criminal case was initiated regarding the incident. In an effort to find eyewitnesses to the dispute, investigators conducted operational inquiries in the village of Mrgavet. Together with representatives of the preliminary investigation body, information was obtained indicating that three residents from the Ararat region were responsible for inflicting the injuries on the citizen, one of whom is named Dalar, while the other two are residents of the village of Abovyan.

As a result of explanatory work, on April 25, two of the suspects presented themselves at the Artashat police department and confessed to their involvement. One of them has been arrested. Efforts are ongoing to locate the third participant. The circumstances of the case are being clarified, and the preliminary investigation continues.
