Hayk Marutyan: "Areyan will tell you where Lenin's statue's head, feet, and hands were taken"

Arman Antonian, a member of the "My Step" faction of Yerevan's Council, expressed his frustration today at a council meeting regarding the city hall's response to his written inquiry about the whereabouts of the Lenin and worker statues, stating that they had no information.

Hayk Marutyan humorously replied, "I know where Lenin is, but I don't know where the statue is." Addressing the head of Yerevan's information department, Joseph Kubatian, the mayor inquired about the location of Lenin and the worker. However, it turned out that no one knew where the statues were located.

Marutyan remarked, "I am confident that there is one person who always has the answers to these questions. That is Mr. Areyan. He will tell you how they were dismantled, where the head was taken, and where the feet and hands were sent."
