Video: Apricot and Grape Growers to Receive Compensation

Apricot and grape growers who insured their crops against spring frost at the beginning of the year will receive compensation. This was announced by the Government of the Republic of Armenia. The damage to the affected farmers is currently being assessed, and the amount of compensation will be determined 15 days before the harvest.

So far, approximately 730 contracts have been signed.

"Today it is essential that there is significant participation from farmers as well, so that we can establish the insurance institution," says Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Khojoyan.
