Last Bell Ceremony Postponed

In Armenia, in order to prevent the spread of the new type of coronavirus, the last bell ceremony scheduled for the end of the 2019-2020 academic year will be postponed indefinitely.

“I know that the last bell ceremony is very important in every student's life, as one chapter closes and another one opens. Despite all of this, we must not forget that we are facing the issue of the pandemic's spread, and in young people, the virus often presents without symptoms. We need to understand that if large events are held, the disease might spread, and family members, who may have chronic illnesses, could become infected,” said Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan during a live broadcast on his Facebook page.
