Seda Safaryan Suspects Incident May Be Related to Professional Activities – Ombudsman

Any form of violence is condemnable, especially that which has reportedly been inflicted on the family members of lawyer Seda Safaryan and several others. This was reported by the Office of the Human Rights Defender.

The Human Rights Defender specifically stated: “Any form of violence is condemnable, especially that which has reportedly been inflicted on the family members of lawyer Seda Safaryan and several others. Given that Seda Safaryan has suspicions that the incident may be related to her professional activities, this issue must be prioritized for clarification through criminal proceedings. This will be under my direct attention. I was unable to speak with Ms. Safaryan yesterday; I will reach out again today. I have also discussed the matter with Ara Zohrapyan, the President of the Chamber of Advocates.”
