Lori Governor Approaches Commandant's Office Regarding Reopening of Gloria Garment Factory

The Governor of Lori, Andrey Ghukasyan, announced that he has contacted the commandant's office regarding the reopening of the Gloria garment factory. He stated that the commandant's office received the application sent by the factory's director yesterday.

“Dear employees of the Gloria garment factory, considering the numerous questions you raised yesterday about the reopening of factory operations, I would like to inform you that the matter concerning the reopening of the company, which provides jobs for about 2,600 residents, has always been and continues to be my focus,” he said.

“I have established contact with the commandant's office, which informed me that they received the application for the company's reopening from the director of the Gloria garment factory yesterday. We expect to receive a response regarding the possible reopening from the commandant's office within the next 1-2 days. As soon as we receive an answer, I promise to inform all of you.”

“Understanding your demand to return to work and earn your living, I urge you to be patient and to wait a little longer. We understand that under the current social conditions, that work is an urgent necessity; however, human health and lives are absolute values that we cannot risk,” he added.
