Identity of Those Who Assaulted Notable Lawyer Seda Safaryan's Family Revealed

On April 25, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Yerevan Police, along with the Criminal Investigation and Community Police Departments of the Malatia Police Station, conducted necessary operational and investigative measures to identify those who assaulted the family members of renowned lawyer Seda Safaryan on April 24, in front of the Mush neighborhood.

According to Shamshyan.com, the identified individuals are Arman Grigoryan, 24, and Mnatsakan Yeghoyan, 25, both residents of Sebastia Street in Yerevan, and Pashik Kulijanyan, 22, who lives on Tichin Street.

As reported, following explanatory work by the police, both Kulijanyan and Yeghoyan voluntarily appeared at the Malatia Police Station, provided explanations regarding the incident, and were subsequently released. The police are taking necessary measures to locate Grigoryan.

As previously mentioned, on April 24, between 22:30 and 23:00, Seda Safaryan's daughter, son-in-law, sister-in-law, and her parents were assaulted in the Mush neighborhood of Yerevan. In an interview with “A1+”, Seda Safaryan stated that the assailants were a group of 5-6 unruly individuals. According to Mrs. Safaryan, they were shouting insults during the night, and when her son-in-law went out to seek clarification about the disturbance, he was assaulted without reason.

“They attacked my son-in-law unprovoked, and it escalated from there. I want to understand, if the issue was only with my son-in-law, why did they also assault the women? I have never witnessed such rampant hooliganism. I am simply shocked,” said Seda Safaryan, adding that the assailants had moved a bit away from the yard before continuing the assault to avoid being filmed. The situation escalated further when the women attempted to intervene.
