Information security expert Samvel Martirosyan has addressed a video that has been circulating on social media since yesterday. The video claims to show President Putin of Russia playing "Adana’s Lament."

Martirosyan wrote: “This is a national security issue and a tragedy that a clear fake has spread over 33,000 times in just one day. This is a symptom of educational failure. It should again prove to us that the foundation of the country is the educational system. Not taxes, not agriculture, not the army. Everything will fail if you have an illiterate society.”

He continued, “To this day, I see publications claiming that coronavirus does not exist. A public figure says this, and a journalist disseminates it. As a result, we can have tragedies, because many people will believe such statements. Our society, without education, loses its immune system.”

“From Azerbaijani agents to public fools and outright scoundrels, they easily infiltrate the information space and wash people's brains. We need to put an end to this laundering,” he wrote.
