Can One Really Dislike the City This Much? 'Mini' Landfill in Arabkir

A mini landfill in Arabkir. Can one really dislike the city this much? This is the message shared on the Facebook page of the "Greening and Environmental Protection" community services agency, along with accompanying photos.

The message states: "An open eye is turned away from the area that is a hotspot for the pandemic. Meanwhile, the garbage piles are increasing by the hour. The "Greening and Environmental Protection" agency, with the assistance of the "Waste Collection and Sanitation" organization, removed several truckloads of accumulated household waste from the address Komitas 60/2 over the years.

It is noteworthy that not only residential buildings are near the area turned into a landfill, but there is also a large shopping center from where the waste accumulates. It should be noted that the shopping center is responsible for the cleanliness of the area. However, by the decision of the acting director of the "Greening and Environmental Protection" agency, Armen Begoyan, many such areas have been landscaped, despite not being within the agency's functional scope.

As a result, not only have the green areas and oxygen of the capital been restored, but landscaping has also created opportunities for once-neglected places to have new green and blooming spaces. Let's love every corner of our country and city, keep our surroundings clean, and care for every tree and bush. The change is in your hands!"
