The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has criticized the measures taken by European countries in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and warned about the second wave of the disease, according to rusvesna.su.
“They have isolated people, locked them behind four walls, and they are presenting us with that method. Today, in those countries, up to 400-600 people are dying daily, meaning that the coronavirus, if it is indeed the coronavirus, is still raging. After quarantine, ‘weakened people’ will go out onto the streets and will ‘contract the virus’,” Lukashenko declared.
It is noteworthy that Belarus has reported 8,022 confirmed cases of coronavirus, with 60 fatalities.
