The Trend of Virus Spread is Manageable at This Stage: Avinyan
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, reported during a government meeting today that the decision regarding types of economic activities was updated last night, allowing for a number of sectors to resume operations, particularly in the processing industry.
He noted that the situation regarding movement restrictions has changed somewhat. “Regional checkpoints have been removed; we now have the virus spread in almost all regions, and we will concentrate those resources in areas where control is needed. We will also utilize community restrictions if we observe an outbreak in any community,” he stated.
Avinyan mentioned that, as promised, they are gradually moving towards reopening in a phased manner. The Deputy Prime Minister indicated that the trend of virus spread is manageable at this stage and that if it continues this way, different types of economic activities will be opened up.
