Snowfall in the Regions of Ashotzk and Amasia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of April 23 at 09:45, the roadways in the Republic of Armenia are mostly passable. Snow is falling in the regions of Ashotzk and Amasia in the Shirak Province.

Regarding the Lars situation, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of Russia’s North Ossetia, the Stepanavan-Lars road is open only for cargo transportation after intensive snow removal efforts.

At the same time, it is reported that the ban on the entry of foreign nationals into Georgia remains in effect. This restriction does not apply to cargo transport.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
