The Prime Minister Allows Entrance and Exit to Vardenis for Employees of Several Factories

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, has made an amendment to decision N 48 dated April 21, 2020, on April 22. This information is provided by the official website of the Armenian Government.

The new decision includes the following changes:

1. The subpoint "a" of point 1 of the decision is amended as follows: "Establish a special regime for entering and exiting the administrative boundary of the Vardenis community, prohibiting the entry and exit of individuals and vehicles, with the exception of the supply of essential goods, equipment, food products, pharmaceuticals, fuel, and for the purposes of conducting agricultural and horticultural work by individuals and employees of 'Geopromining Gold' LLC at the Sotk gold mine, as well as for the transportation of milk gatherers to the milk collection point of 'ARAKS-2' AC located in the Akunk community from the Vardenis community via the M11 interstate highway."
2. Point 1 is supplemented with subpoint "d" with the following content: "The entry and exit of individuals for the agricultural and horticultural work established by subpoint 'a' of this point and for the purpose of milk collection at the milk collection point of 'ARAKS-2' AC in Akunk from the Vardenis community is permitted only in the presence of a form signed by a representative of the Gegharkunik regional administration, as specified in the annex of this decision."
3. Point 1 is supplemented with subpoint "e" with the following content: "The entry and exit of employees of 'Ecokath' company and 'Geopromining Gold' LLC at the Sotk gold mine established by subpoint 'a' of this point is permitted only under the presence of the employer’s certificate established by the Prime Minister's decision N 27 dated March 31, 2020."
4. Point 1 is supplemented with subpoint "z" with the following content: "In order to control the movement of automotive transport on the M11 interstate highway, the Armenian police shall establish regulations within the Vardenis community and prohibit stopped vehicles from entering the administrative boundaries of the Vardenis community."
5. The decision includes an annex, according to the annex.

This decision comes into effect upon publication.
