Jalal Harutyunyan Observes Combat Shooting Phase of Demonstrative Military Exercises

On April 22, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh and Commander of the Defense Army, Major General Jalal Harutyunyan, observed the combat shooting phase of a demonstrative battalion tactical exercise at the 'Tigranakert' training ground.

The exercise, themed 'Deployment of an Enhanced Motorized Infantry Battalion on Alert, Preparation for Battle, and Conducting an Attack on an Opponent Transitioning to Hasty Defense. A Counterattack Halt and Organization of Defense in a Favorable Terrain', involved one of the Motorized Infantry Battalions operating under central command, along with enhanced artillery and reconnaissance units. The purpose was to enhance the capabilities of the officers being trained in skillful leadership of the assigned units during different types of combat, as well as to train them in decision-making, conducting offensive operations, and ensuring continuous interaction.

During the exercise, the participating personnel, through their combat readiness and the skilled leadership of commanders, were able to achieve precise fire impacts and effectively execute the assigned combat task through competent tactics. After the completion of the exercise, the results were summarized, and the participating personnel received appropriate instructions and recommendations.
