Testing Conducted for Many Residents of Norashen Village, 3 More Individuals Isolated

Testing has been conducted for a large number of residents in the municipality of Norashen in the Ararat region, and results are awaited. As reported in a conversation with NEWS.am today, another 3 individuals were isolated yesterday.

“In addition to the 28 people who were taken for isolation by bus two days ago, testing is being done for people at home in the village. Three more individuals have been isolated yesterday, and I know that the results for some of them were negative. I don't know why this is being kept secret,” said a resident of the community.

It is worth reminding that a few days ago a man passed away in Norashen, whose son had returned from Moscow and was under quarantine. However, he was taken by ambulance to Norashen to participate in the funeral. Hundreds of people attended the burial, and many approached and hugged the son of the deceased.

Furthermore, it should be noted that by the decision of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Chief of the Rescue Service Tigran Avinyan, restrictions were applied in the Norashen community of the Ararat region until April 18 at 23:59. A special regime was established for entering and exiting the administrative borders of the community, prohibiting the entry and exit of individuals and vehicles, except for the supply of essential goods, supplies, food, medication, and fuel.
