Vardenis City is Closed: Coronavirus-Infected Doctor Continued Working Sick for Days

Vardenis city is closed, and entry to the city is prohibited. The infected individual in Gegharkunik Province is one of the doctors at the Vardenis polyclinic, who has been ill in recent days but continued to report for work. This was reported by 24News.

According to the website's information, the medical facility where the infected person worked continues to operate after disinfection, and those who were in contact with the infected have been quarantined.

Earlier, the governor of Gegharkunik posted on Facebook informing that the first case of infection had been registered in the province. According to our information, the infected person is a resident of Vardenis.

“It is with regret that we must note that one case of coronavirus infection has been registered in the province. Efforts are underway to clarify the circle of contacts and to take appropriate steps according to medical guidelines,” he wrote.
