Passengers Gathered at Domodedovo in Video by Naira Baghdasaryan
Facebook user Naira Baghdasaryan has shared a video with the caption: “The video features passengers who gathered at Domodedovo and have already returned to Yerevan on the 12th of the month: Currently, there are many travelers still at the airport. I have a huge request for my colleagues—journalists: I read materials where there is mockery, irony, and an improper attitude towards people. Dear editors and journalists, behind each person gathered here is a personal drama, each one carries a human destiny, often choking you as you delve deeper into it. These people are in an unspeakably difficult situation; I kindly ask you, at least at this moment, to forget about likes, propaganda, political, and personal interests and simply demonstrate a humane approach. None of us is insured, and it is impossible to say how one will behave in such a terrifying and complicated situation. These people are not saying or doing anything bad; they are simply trying to make their voices heard in the way they envision. There is no need to pour oil on the fire, to fall into momentary interests—at least RIGHT NOW. I am sure that the competent authorities will not take offense at the criticism directed at them, as hearing criticism is part of their job. I believe that criticism is perceived by them as a signal, an alert to solve the problem more quickly and effectively, and we see that, thanks to them, the issue is gradually being resolved. No one is forgotten; nothing is forgotten. We will be left only with our feeling of shame or pride regarding our actions or inactions.
