Construction Proposal for Residential Complex Adjacent to Halabyan Street to be Presented to Government

Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan met with representatives of the "Renovation Project Management Company." This was reported by the Yerevan Municipality.

During the meeting, the mayor was presented with a proposal for the construction of a residential complex in the area adjacent to Halabyan Street. According to the sketch design, it is planned to build five multi-story buildings, which will fully address the resettlement issue of residents from six buildings in that area recognized as hazardous.

According to the proposed project, the resettlement will only begin after the construction of the buildings. It is expected that residents will receive renovated apartments corresponding to their living area in the newly built multi-apartment buildings, while those with garages will have spaces in underground parking lots.

Mayor Hayk Marutyan emphasized the social component of the project, which will contribute to solving the issue of residents living in hazardous buildings on Halabyan Street, providing them with secure, safe, and comfortable living conditions. Additionally, of the approximately 35,000 square meters of area, only about 6,000 square meters will be developed; the remaining areas will be fully improved, landscaped, and turned into public spaces for communal use.

The Yerevan mayor once again highlighted that the community stands alongside all investors and developers who address key social issues while enhancing the city. The project will soon be presented to the government for discussion.
