Closed-Door Holy Mass Will Be Held in All Churches on April 24
On April 24, the day of commemoration of the Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide, a closed-door Holy Mass will be held at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and in all churches of the Armenian Apostolic Church at 10:30 AM. At the end of the service, a supplication for the Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide will be performed,” as stated on the Facebook page of the Mother See's informational system.
On the same day at 12:00 PM, church bells will ring in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
“The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin invites our people’s children to join the spiritual class in prayer on this sacred day in their homes, especially in these difficult pandemic conditions, and to unitedly and sincerely request the intercession of our Holy Martyrs before God for the health and safety of our global nation and for peace and prosperity in our homeland,” the message states.
