A 10 km Long Pedestrian Promenade to Be Built in the Lchashen-Sevan Peninsula Area

In the Lchashen-Sevan peninsula area, a zoning project is being developed aimed at creating a recreational zone and promoting investments. Armen Ghulyan, acting head of the RA Urban Development Committee, along with Deputy Nune Petrosyan, MP Hayk Sargsyan, project architect Razmik Babayan, and Head of Architecture and Urban Planning Department Tigran Manukyan discussed the construction project for a pedestrian promenade approximately 10 kilometers long. This information has been reported by the RA Urban Development Committee.

Alongside the promenade stretching towards the vicinity of Sevanavank, a cycling path is also planned to be constructed, which will be located at an elevation of 1905.0 meters. Hotel, active leisure and entertainment, service and dining facilities, and green zone parks will be organized along the promenade, creating harmonized solutions with the environment and ensuring maximum connection for visitors with the natural landscape.

This project will create favorable conditions for attracting investments and organizing comfortable recreation for tourists.

During the working discussion, Armen Ghulyan, MP Hayk Sargsyan, and representatives of the professional group presented new proposals for the development of the concept. As a result of the discussion, it was decided to make new refinements to the project, and considering the possible economic crisis triggered by the state of emergency, to expedite the organization of the process, thereby giving new impetus to the development programs.
