Johnson Still Not Working: Prime Minister's Representative Talks About His Health Condition
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is still not back at work and is continuing his recovery. This was stated by a representative from Johnson's office, as reported by Ria Novosti.
"The Prime Minister is at his country residence in Chequers and has not yet returned to work," the representative clarified in a conversation with reporters.
It should be noted that during Johnson's illness, he has been replaced by Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab. Raab stood in for Johnson during an online meeting with G7 leaders on Thursday.
As a reminder, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom announced on March 27 that he had been infected with the coronavirus. Since then, he had been in self-isolation but continued to work. On April 3, he announced in a video message that he was still experiencing a high temperature. On April 5, Johnson was admitted to the hospital for necessary tests.
