73-Year-Old Patient Dies from Bilateral Pneumonia: Alina Nikoghosyan

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health of Armenia, Alina Nikoghosyan, wrote on her Facebook page that a death has been recorded at the 'St. Grigor Lusavorich' Medical Center. The 73-year-old patient had a confirmed case of bilateral pneumonia due to coronavirus. The man also had accompanying chronic conditions including ischemic heart disease and arterial hypertension.

During treatment, exacerbation of chronic conditions occurred, leading to persistent heart rhythm disturbances and an ischemic stroke. As of April 15, there are 48 new cases of coronavirus and 61 recoveries reported.
