The Number of COVID-19 Cases in Turkey Exceeds 61,000
As of April 13, Turkey has reported 98 deaths due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). This information was shared by Turkey's Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, on his official Twitter account, as reported by Ermenihaber.
In his post, the minister indicated that 4,093 new cases of infection were confirmed from 34,456 tests conducted within the last 24 hours. During the same period, there were 98 reported deaths among infected individuals, while another 511 patients have recovered.
Overall, a total of 3,957 patients have recovered from the pandemic in Turkey, with 1,786 patients currently in intensive care.
According to the latest data, Turkey has recorded a total of 61,049 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 1,296 deaths. The total number of tests conducted has reached 410,556.
