State of Emergency Extended in Georgia Until May 10
The state of emergency imposed in Georgia to prevent the spread of coronavirus has been extended until May 10. This was announced by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia during a briefing.
Starting from April 15, entrance and exit will be prohibited in four major cities of Georgia, including Tbilisi.
The outbreak of the new coronavirus was first reported in Central China at the end of 2019 and has since spread to more than 200 countries. The World Health Organization declared it a pandemic on March 11.
