Number of Coronavirus Infections in Italy Rises by 675
The number of coronavirus infections in Italy has increased by only 675 within the last 24 hours, marking the best performance in over a month. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the statement of Angelo Borrelli, the head of the Italian Civil Protection Service.
“Currently, there are 104,291 individuals infected, with an increase of 675 over the past day,” stated Borrelli. The highest rate of infections, 4,821, was registered on March 21. According to Borrelli, the total confirmed cases in Italy have reached 162,400.
