176 Isolated Citizens Recorded in Gegharkunik Region

According to the information presented by Lusine Vardanyan, head of the Public Health Department of the Gegharkunik Regional Administration, as of today, there are 176 citizens registered for self-isolation in the Gegharkunik region due to coronavirus prevention measures.

As reported to Armenpress by the Health and Social Security Department of the Gegharkunik Regional Administration, the self-isolated individuals have primarily arrived from various cities in the Russian Federation. There are no cases of fever or contact-related illnesses, and the number of requests for primary health care services has decreased by about 50% among children and adults.

Governor Gnel Sanosyan has urged the department head and staff to maintain close cooperation with the region's health institutions and to take appropriate measures in case any issues arise. “Let us be vigilant and organized as we confront difficulties, so that we can manage problematic areas effectively,” the governor stated.
