Death of Patient with Coronavirus-Related Illness Confirmed by Health Ministry

As of April 9, a new death from coronavirus has been recorded. Health Ministry spokesperson Alina Nikoghosyan made the announcement on her Facebook page.

"As of April 9, we have a new death case: an 80-year-old patient who had a coronavirus illness and severe pneumonia complicated by acute respiratory distress syndrome. The man had pre-existing chronic conditions, including arterial hypertension, cachexia, and senile sclerosis," she stated.
