4 New Cases of Coronavirus Disease Registered in Ararat Province: Governor

The Governor of Ararat Province, Garik Sargsyan, announced on his Facebook page: "As of April 8, 4 new cases of coronavirus disease have been recorded in Ararat Province. The total number of confirmed cases currently stands at 179. Sadly, I received information that there has been another death at the Artashat Medical Center this morning. The 80-year-old patient had a coronavirus infection, severe pneumonia complicated by acute respiratory distress syndrome. The man had accompanying chronic diseases, including arterial hypertension, cachexia, and senile sclerosis. He was from the Ararat Province.
