My Decision to Leave Work is Based on the Anti-State Approach to Civil Aviation
“I learned from the media that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has finally signed my resignation request submitted last week. I do not understand why my dismissal was justified with a legal clause that says nothing. It could simply have stated ‘by my own request.’ This was written by Hacob Jagharyan, the former aviation adviser to the Prime Minister, on his Facebook page. The full post is as follows:
“The grounds for my decision to leave work are the destructive, undermining, and anti-state approaches being shown towards Civil Aviation. Last Saturday, April 4, I wrote my final report to the Prime Minister, where I once again explained the REAL situation of Armenian civil aviation, without lies and distortion of reality; clarified the real reasons for this situation; and outlined the ways to overcome this crisis.
In the report, I proposed to finally allow a team of real specialists, who are competent, organized, and are willing to work voluntarily for the country and the sector, to help rectify the situation. Otherwise, accept my resignation.
According to the law, I submitted my official written resignation on Monday, April 6. Resigning from the position is my decision. And, as I stated in my resignation request, I refuse the useless status of a ‘counselor’ who has found a cozy place and serves with irrelevant advice. I will clarify the details in a press conference soon,” he wrote.
