Armenian Citizen Infected with COVID-19 Participated in Voting, 50 Had Already Voted Before Him

A citizen of Artsakh, who was isolated due to a confirmed COVID-19 case, participated in the nationwide voting on March 31 in the afternoon. He wore a mask, used a personal pen, and took advantage of disinfectants, and at that moment did not show any signs of fever or other symptoms.

Citizens at the polling stations, including the members of the commission, were also wearing protective masks and gloves. This information was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.

As of 14:00, prior to the aforementioned citizen's participation in the voting, 50 out of the eligible voters in the village had already cast their votes. In the later afternoon, only 20 citizens participated, including the subsequently isolated individual.

Throughout the day, all citizens and those present at the polling stations had been equipped with protective masks, gloves, personal writing instruments, and used disinfectants.

To avoid fake and unverified news, we urge everyone to follow the official news provided through the information headquarters of the inter-agency commission coordinating the efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the Republic of Artsakh.
