280 Applications Received for Design, Renovation, and Production of Lung Ventilation Devices

The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia reports that a total of 280 applications have been received, of which 230 have already been summarized and processed.

Of the processed applications, 10%—23 applications—concern the donation of systems in disrepair. Already, 10 such devices have been collected, which, thanks to the specialists from the "Engineering City," have been given a second life and are fully ready for use.

17% of the presented ideas—40 applications—are from Armenian manufacturing factories, well-established engineering companies, universities, and research institutes. They have expressed their willingness to engage in the design and testing of lung ventilation devices, laboratory testing, and the production of spare parts, details, molds, and components. This will enable the necessary components and parts to be obtained in a short time that would otherwise have to be imported from other countries.

16% of the proposals—37 applications—were received from Armenian engineers, ranging from radio engineers to specialists in nanoelectronics. They are ready to contribute their professional knowledge to the study, design, repair of medical equipment, and the modernization of components. If necessary, they are prepared to create engineering teams or join existing design and production teams to support engineering solutions, design, and production.

58% of the applications received relate to the study of international experience, the presentation of projects in accordance with international standards, and the current situation of the latest equipment and companies.

Programs have also been proposed by 10 technological companies in Armenia for the production of lung ventilation devices, sterilization and respiratory devices, ozonators, and ultraviolet protective layers.

Support has also been offered by our compatriots from Lebanon, Russia, Germany, and the USA. If necessary, they are prepared to provide assistance to Armenian engineers in obtaining samples of international experience, professional consultations, and, if possible, clarification of the technical specifications for device components.
