VIDEO: Administrative Violations Issued for 131 Individuals
The police continue to enforce restrictions on the movement of individuals to prevent the possible spread of the new coronavirus, in accordance with the decision of the Prime Minister. On April 7, between 9 AM and 3 PM, administrative violation reports were drawn up against 131 individuals for violating isolation or self-isolation rules or other restrictions on the right to free movement. After the Prime Minister's decision came into force, a total of 6,982 individuals were recorded in violations, including 2,759 in the capital and 4,223 in the regions.
Staff from various police units are also deployed around banks, supermarkets, and other establishments where crowding may occur. Officers are urging citizens in line to maintain distance from one another.
“We once again urge the population to severely limit leaving their homes and to do so only in cases of extreme necessity, adhering to the requirements set forth by the Prime Minister’s decision,” the statement reads.
