Armenian Embassy in Ukraine Working on Organizing Kyiv-Yerevan Charter Flight

The Armenian Embassy in Ukraine announces that there is currently only the option to return to Armenia from Ukraine via the Minsk-Yerevan flight for Armenian citizens wishing to return.

"Tickets for flights on April 5 and 12 have already sold out. The reservation system on the company's website shows availability for flights on April 17, 19, 24, and 26. The embassy once again warns that reaching Minsk Airport from Ukraine is also problematic as the Ukraine-Belarus border can only be crossed on foot through working border checkpoints. Transport available on the Belarusian side can be used to reach Minsk at that time, as well as assistance from acquaintances, relatives, and friends residing in Belarus.

Moreover, the situation is changing daily; both the Ukrainian side could completely prohibit exit from the country, and the Belarusian side may restrict or deny entry, sending those arriving to a 14-day mandatory quarantine, even if you have a ticket purchased through the Belavia airline.

We also inform that during these days, the Armenian Embassy in Ukraine is working on organizing a Kyiv-Yerevan charter flight. Currently, there are not enough departing passengers and those arriving from Armenia for the timing and possibility of the flight to be clarified. We ask Armenian citizens wishing to travel to register by phone or email with the consular department of the embassy. It should be noted that we cannot guarantee that even with a sufficient number of passengers, the flight will necessarily take place, as the quarantine regime changes very quickly.
