A Consultation on the Implementation of Capital Projects Held Under the Leadership of Nikol Pashinyan
As of now, there are 1,119,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus worldwide, with 59,245 deaths and 229,338 recoveries. In Armenia, new cases continue to emerge, with currently 770 positive diagnoses, 7 deaths, and 43 recoveries. This information was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a consultation regarding the progress of capital project implementations at the Government.
“The coronavirus pandemic has brought about economic and social challenges worldwide, and the greatest challenge for governments is to make necessary decisions that stem from these complications,” he said.
“We are beginning to discuss the progress of our loan programs, because at this moment, there are $1.3 billion in loan funds in Armenia that have not yet been spent, and we must do everything to ensure that these expenditures are effective,” he stated.
