People Infected with Coronavirus Provided Incorrect Information to the Ministry

According to the newspaper "Joughourdt," on March 31, the spokesperson for the Minister of Health, Alina Nikoghosyan, announced on her Facebook page: "The place of residence of 30 patients infected with the coronavirus is being clarified, as there is a discrepancy between the actual data and the passport information of these individuals." However, according to information from "Joughourdt," there are indeed confirmed cases of coronavirus, and the patients have provided incorrect information about themselves. Reports indicate that they have given incorrect addresses, phone numbers, and even their names. In other words, it's not that the Ministry can't verify their information; rather, the patients are misleading them.

Yesterday, "Joughourdt" attempted to clarify the situation with Lilit Babakhanyan, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Health: "These 30 individuals are confirmed patients, hospitalized, and receiving treatment. The issue is simply that the personal data they provided for mapping and the data stated in their passports—specifically regarding residence—do not match. This means the problem is only related to mapping, not losing track of the individuals." She also noted that everything has already been clarified, and there is no issue.
