Notification of Self-Isolation Issued to 11,895 Individuals Arriving in Armenia

A total of 11,895 individuals arriving in Armenia from countries designated as high-risk for the coronavirus have been issued notifications for self-isolation. This was stated by the head of the Health and Labor Inspection Body, Hakob Avagyan, during a press conference on April 3.

“From March 24 until now, 172 travelers have been hospitalized directly from the seven border checkpoints, and 24,172 have completed address cards. As of March 19, notifications for self-isolation have been issued to 11,895 individuals arriving from high-risk countries,” Avagyan said.

As of April 3 at 11:00 AM, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia stands at 736, with 7 recorded fatalities. 3,258 tests have returned negative results. Currently, 686 patients are receiving treatment. By April 3 at 11:00 AM, 43 citizens have recovered from the coronavirus in Armenia.
