What will be the threshold for declaring the situation uncontrollable? Journalist to Minister

All of our ill citizens are located in about 16 hotel complexes, and we have 9 medical centers, the largest of which is St. Grigor Lusavorich Hospital, which from today will bear the largest burden, said Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan during a press conference.

“A total of 328 samples were tested on April 1, of which we received positive results for 92 tests; more than half of them are known individuals who were isolated. There are also other clusters, especially among those who arrived from abroad, which, in our opinion, were identified early, and their contact circles are not that wide. Considering the numbers, we need to be vigilant; as the Prime Minister mentioned, we should not panic. The recommendations we provide must be doubled; in any case, we must break the spread. There is no alternative but to identify and break the chains of transmission,” said Minister Torosyan.

In response to a journalist's question about what threshold would prompt him to declare the situation uncontrollable, A. Torosyan replied, “There is indeed such a point when we will say it is no longer possible to trace the incidents and find out where it originated. However, I hope we are far from that point and that we won't reach it. Our task is to not reach that point. There will come a time when the healthcare system will only deal with moderately severe patients.”
