Snow Falls in Some Regions of Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of April 2 at 08:20, the roads in Armenia are mostly passable. However, the roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn region will remain closed for an indefinite period.

In the Shirak region and throughout the Lorri region, with the exception of the city of Alaverdi, snow is falling.

Regarding Larsi, according to information received from the Georgian Interior Ministry's Emergency Management Department and the Russian Emergencies Ministry's North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open only for freight transport after intense snow removal work.

At the same time, we report that the decision to prohibit foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. This ban does not apply to freight transportation. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
