9 COVID-19 Cases in Kapan and 8 in Meghri, Says Syunik Deputy Governor
Syunik Deputy Governor Narek Babayan wrote on his Facebook page: "Dear citizens, as of April 2 at 10:00 AM, we have confirmed 9 cases of coronavirus in the Kapan community of Syunik province, and 8 cases in the Meghri community. In order to reduce the further spread of the infection and break the chains of transmission, we urge you to strictly adhere to the restrictions imposed by the commandant's office during the state of emergency in the republic, stay at home, self-isolate, and go out only in cases of vital necessity while maintaining all personal hygiene rules.
We remind you that responsibility is established for violations of the legal regime of the state of emergency under Article 182.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Armenia. Specifically, violating the restrictions prescribed, such as isolation or self-isolation rules or other restrictions on the right to free movement, incurs a fine of 100,000 to 250,000 drams."
